This bill clarifies that the exchange of blockchain tokens does not constitute money transmission and therefore require a license. It also creates a task force of relevant stakeholders to discuss blockchain applications to government processes.

Libertas supports this bill. This new technology shows significant promise for increasing security and efficiency and should therefore be embraced by the state.
